         This comet was initially reported as asteroidal.  E. J. Christensen (I52)
    reported a 10" coma, slightly extended toward the north, as seen in 4x60s
    images under good conditions.  K. Sarneczky and R. Szakats (K88) reported
    that the object appeared softer than nearby stars of similar brightness (FWHM
    was ~ 4".0 in 3".0 seeing).  S. Gajdos (118) reported a circular diffuse coma
    with diameter ~ 7" and no tail on 16x80s images.
