(623827) Nikandrilyich

Nikandr Ilyich Romanov (1916–1999) was a great-grandfather of the discoverer. He was a Chuvash, born in Kozhikovo, near Cheboksary. He studied at veterinary and military schools. After military service, he worked as a foreman. He and his wife raised four children. After retiring, he was a beekeeper in Chuguevka, Primorsky Krai, Russia. [Ref: WGSBN Bull. 3, #13, 19]
